Carbon Footprint Reduction Program - Get Certified
The Carbon Footprint Reduction Program (CFRP) provides verification that organizations earning the certification have authentically measured, managed and reduced their carbon emissions.The CFRP will provide your organization with a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, allowing it to identify and target reductions from its major emissions sources.
Intended to encourage all businesses to take the first step toward carbon verification & reduction or to certify reductions already achieved, the CFRP provides various achievable levels of certification. To this end, the certification begins with a verified 10% minimum reduction in carbon emissions. Your company may decide to pursue a higher level of reduction during subsequent recertifications.
Applying for certification:
- Contact ESG Energy at 336-373-1538 to discuss your carbon reduction goals and apply for certification
- Collect utility bills and other data as requested by ESG Energy
- Fulfill the initial carbon footprint verification by an assessor
