Assessment Criteria

To achieve certification under the Carbon Footprint Reduction Program (CFRP) you will have to meet the following three criteria: Provide an accurate carbon footprint measurement including all required emission sources Demonstrate a specified verifiable reduction of your carbon footprint Demonstrate an understanding of carbon management

You will be provided with a Carbon Footprint Calculator, Assessment Form and software that simplifies the data gathering process. The Carbon Footprint Calculator follows the principles outlined in the GHG protocol and follows the methodology developed by ESG Energy. The Assessment Form includes questions about your organization's carbon management. An assessor will review the completed form and compare it with the CFRP methodology.
