ESG Energy conducted an energy use analysis for this seven-building multifamily complex on thirteen acres in Chicago. The comprehensive audit included evaluation of windows, energy used in lighting and heating/cooling, and water use. We examined utility bills for a 12-month period and performed a detailed financial analysis based on implementation cost estimates, site-specific operating cost savings, and the customer's investment criteria. Energy use was compared to a model for a similar set of buildings using Energy Quest software developed for the Department of Energy and a carbon emissions analysis was prepared.
