Utility Audit. The first step to making energy and sustainability decisions is an audit of your current costs to plug the holes left by your utility providers. The final step is an onsite Energy Audit by an accredited energy analyst, also known as a BPI Building Analyst. The audit will identify how to plug the holes left by the building and mechanical contractors. Specially trained to understand the complex interactions between mechanical systems, utility use and the building envelope, a building analyst is uniquely qualified to diagnose key issues that can affect durability, energy efficiency, safety and overall health. Once they have uncovered a problem, the analyst will prescribe upgrades you can make to improve the comfort and quality of your building as well as save you money on future utility bills.
Does the analyst also install the recommended upgrades?
