Home Energy Audit
The first step to ensure energy efficiency is an Energy Audit by an accredited energy analyst, also known as a HERS Rater. Specially trained to understand the complex interactions with your home or commercial property, a HERS Rater is uniquely qualified to diagnose key issues that can affect durability, energy efficiency, safety and overall health. Once they have uncovered a problem, your Rater will prescribe upgrades you can make to improve the comfort and quality of your home or office as well as save you money on future utility bills.
Does the energy rater also install the recommended upgrades? To avoid a potential conflict of interest, HERS Raters are not allowed to install upgrades they may be rating. They are third-party assessors and verifiers, only.
